The main mission of the university’s medical information research management is to strengthen the university’s educational and research activities by enhancing the scientific standing of its beneficiaries through the provision, development, and facilitation of access to information resources and scientific databases required by the academic community, as well as ensuring the optimal utilization of scientific resources.
Activities Overview
- Supervising and following up on matters related to the university’s scientific journals
- Planning and supporting the publication of articles by faculty members, students, and staff, and drafting related regulations
- Supervising and planning activities related to organizing scientific seminars and research workshops at the university level
- Managing affairs related to study opportunities and participation of faculty members in national and international congresses
- Supervising the activities of the Student Research Committee
- Serving as the secretariat of the university publications council and drafting related regulations
- Supervising the university’s scientometrics office and monitoring the research activities of faculty members
- Following up on providing university users with access to electronic scientific resources and books
