About
The Food Safety Research Center (Salt) is one of the research centers affiliated with Semnan University of Medical Sciences. The Center received its preliminary approval from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MOHME) in 2016.
Drawing upon the expertise of its full-time and part-time faculty members, together with its Research Council comprising experienced and active academics in the fields of Food Science and Technology and Nutritional Sciences, the Center is dedicated to advancing high-quality research in food safety with a particular emphasis on salt-related health issues. The Center actively conducts research projects, provides scientific consultation to the food industry, supports student research activities, and collaborates in university, national, and international research initiatives.
